Successfully complete 90 hours of Board-approved courses covering the topics required by the NCA in subjects related to real estate appraisal. This must include 15 hours of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). |

After the board receives and process your application you will be granted exam approval. Contact the testing site to make reservations for the exam. Once you pass the state exam you will need to send the original test result to the board. |

You will receive your license number in the mail pending review of your character. You must work under the direct supervision of a supervised appraiser either licensed or certified. |

In addition all licensed and certified appraisers must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 28 hours of continuing education course at least 7 of these hours must be a USPAP update. This must be completed every two year CE cycle ending on May 31st of every odd number year. |
